“Hawaii on the Hill” – July 22-23, 2014

As part of an effort to put “Hawaii on the Hill,” Senator Hirono has asked the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii (COCH) to serve as host for a series of events on Capitol Hill, including a “Taste of Hawaii,” at which Hawaii’s food, culture and industries will be showcased. This will be the first time Hawaii will be showcased on the Hill and the Chamber is inviting members and other organizations to join this effort, with Senator Hirono and Hawaii’s Congressional Delegation serving as honorary co-chairs.
HFMA member companies are invited to show their products. We are limiting the participants to 20 companies and 2 products per company. There will be 2-6 foot tables to display products and do sampling from. Required is a minimum of 400 sample portions per product with sampling spoons, toothpicks, sample cups or whatever is needed to hand out the product. Products must be easily shipped (non refrigerated) via Fed-Ex. Promotional materials are encouraged but order forms are not accepted. Once you are notified that your participation is approved, all products for display and sampling must be delivered to HFMA office at 2800 Woodlawn Drive, Suite 100, Honolulu, HI 96822 no later thanJuly 11th.
