TASTE Awards gala is two weeks away!

The Battle of the Chefs will start the evening off with a bang!
Chef Ronnie Nasuti (middle) started washing dishes at age 14, apprenticed in the prestigious Copley Plaza Hotel and mentored under Roy Yamaguchi before his current post as Executive Chef at Tiki’s Bar & Grill.
Chef Colin Hazama (right) is a James Beard “Rising Star Chef” semi-finalist and has cooked with many international top chefs including Alan Wong, Gary Danko and Jean-George Vongrichten before taking his current position of Senior Executive Sous Chef at the Sheraton Waikiki.
The three chefs will craft unique, signature dishes featuring HFMA member products plus be joined by Daniel Anthony of Mana Ai making freshly pounded poi.
Event attendees will indulge on these dishes plus complementary wine service sponsored by Maui’s Winery at Ulupalakua Ranch followed by a formal dinner reception.
Many locally made foods and drinks will also be showcased throughout the evening’s festivities.
