General HFMA Membership Meeting

Join us for our annual HFMA general membership meeting! Take a tour of the Hawaii Foreign-Trade Zone with Administrator David Sikkink and discover resources available – from warehousing and office space rental to financing and workshops on state/federal assistance programs, the Foreign-Trade Zone provides an array of services to help your business grow and save on costs.

Following the tour will be an opportunity to network with fellow food manufacturers and learn about updates to nutrition labeling, food safety programs, and discounts to local expos and shows for HFMA members!

Food safety specialists Dr. Aurora Saulo of the University of Hawaii’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources (CTAHR) and Nina Tanabe with Pacific Food Technology will be available to provide information on the update to the new nutrition labeling requirements.

Learn more about the upcoming American Logistics Association’s (ALA) 20th Annual Local Vendor Show on Tuesday, August 15.The exhibition is a unique opportunity to display, sample, and present products to Hawaii Commissary, Exchange and Military buyers for consideration to be sold in Hawaii stores.
