Burt’s Bees Natural Launchpad Selects Hawai’i Tea Company for Cohort #3
Shaka Tea is the first company from Hawaiʻi to win in the history of the program
(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi – August 3, 2018) – Shaka Tea, the first line of authentically Hawaiian iced teas on the market brewed from māmaki, announces today that it has won a spot as part of Burtʻs Beeʻs Natural Launchpad Cohort #3, marking the first time a company from Hawaiʻi has been selected. Bella Hughes, President and co-founder of Shaka Tea, will participate in two days of coaching at Burt’s Bees headquarters in Durham, NC at the end of October, in addition to winning a $10,000 grant and access to a community of peers. Shaka Tea will also have the right to use a Burt’s Bees Natural Launchpad Seal on their marketing communications and product packaging.
